The Beautiful Game

Colts FC

A football club wanted to collect donations for a much needed 3G pitch. Our fundraising team came up with the idea of supplying engraved paving with the name (or message) from each supporter - laid on the entry path to the pitch.

Emails to supporters were co-ordinated through the ShopKeepEasy mailer system. Donations were made on their shop along with gift aid at checkout.

Paver text was collected electronically so that mistakes were avoided. Finally, ShopKeepEasy arranged both delivery and laying. Easy!

'ShopKeepEasy helped us fundraise for a 3G pitch and reward our supporters with their own engraved bricks. They took care of everything (including the laying of the bricks) and we raised £25,000 in 6 months. They also collected gift aid contributions which increased our donations by a further 25%! Thank you so much.'

Tomorrow's Entrepreneurs

Roundwood

ShopKeepEasy was used by Y12 business students to launch a number of mini-businesses throughout the year.

The students were empowered by the platform and developed a deep understanding of internet retailing, production, supply chain, profit and loss, marketing and selling. The money raised was reinvested back into their school.

Their year culminated in a master-class at M&C Saatchi in London, through one of our charity partners.

'The service from shopkeepeasy has been excellent and varied. We have run a number of stores - some of which have raised significant money for the school. Our students have also used the platform to understand the running of a real business by selling items for school trips. This culminated in an event at M&C Saatchi. In fact, one of the students then managed to get a summer work placement at Saatchi's in London. Inspirational!'

Supporting a good cause

by SJL Students

SJL took part in a county wide Dragon’s Apprentice challenge and used ShopKeepEasy to help them raise over £1,000 for their assigned charity over a 2 month period.

Not only did they create hoodies for school trips and sports teams, they also selected a range of customisable books from the likes of Penguin and Haynes to entice their audience.

They were proudly awarded 2nd place in the county wide competition - and even got a special mention for their online site!

'ShopKeepEasy really helped us exceed our target for the school Dragon’s Apprentice competition. Now that we’ve raised the money for the charity, we are going to continue selling items on the site as a way of making ourselves some profit, as we realised how good an opportunity it was!'
